William Eggleston
Los Alamo's is an interesting collection of photographs. I focused my attention on the last image in this collection. The composition is straight forward with the subjects in the middle. Tones are neutral. I think the image tries to show how people at that time saw African Americans.

Cropping
This is a photograph I took of a wing walker during the Skyfest event at the airport in August. This was the original shot.
I cropped the photograph and moved the plane to the lower corner to make it look as though it is flying into the picture.
This is the opposite orientation crop. I placed the plane at the very top to create more space below it, hoping to make it seem like they are higher up in the air then thy actually are.Wednesday, September 10, 2008
Stiil Shots....
Still shots are to me a moment in time. Something that can never be redone exactly as it was in that moment. Its hold over us is due to the moment in time it captures and the feelings it instills in us when we see it. The emotions can be intense or casual depending on the content of the photo.

Expectation
My interest in photography started in fifth grade. My teacher Mr Brown had a darkroom in the back of the class and would allow us to shoot photographs, develop the film, and then make the prints.
My expectations for this course is to expand my knowledge of photography and what is considered a good shot.
